Our Pastor:

Dr. Terry L. Davis has been happily married over 35 years to Sandy Berry Davis. They were blessed with two daughters, Jacqueline and Shondra and one grandson, Pierson. Jacqueline was called home to be with the Lord in 2018. Dr. Davis was born and raised in Pinola, MS. After graduating from Pinola High School in 1976, he continued his education at Jackson State University graduating in 1980 with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Finance. He accepted his call to the Gospel Ministry in 1989 at the New Ebenezer M.B. Church in Jackson, Mississippi under the leadership of Pastor R. K. Moore, and received his License to Preach. In that same year, he was placed by God as the under Shepherd at the First Hyde Park M.B. Church where he has pastored now 30 years. He furthered his Christian education by attending the Mississippi Baptist Seminary and Wesley Bible College. In September 2010, he received a Doctorate of Art and Religious Studies degree from Corllins University. He currently holds position as 1st vice president of the Mississippi National Baptist State Convention.
